Help Our May Term Class Refurbish Mbabane Hospital!
For over a decade, students from the University of Redlands have been travelling to the Kingdom of Eswatini to learn about the global health challenges and undertake service projects in conjunction with the Ministry of Health. The 2020 class returns with plans to again work on parts for the central government hospital in Mbabane. Two years ago, students painted, patched walls, and helped install new roofing and ceilings in a central hallway in the hospital that was in desperate need of repair.
We return this May to build upon that work! Help us to purchase the supplies that will make our work possible (paints, concrete, tools, timber, rent scaffolding, and more!). These supplies are necessary for the experiential learning taking place. We will procure all supplies locally in Eswatini and work in partnership with local volunteers, including students from the University of Eswatini and volunteers from the Ministry of Health. Your donations will help expand the impact of the work we do, allowing us to expand the scope of our work and overcome any unanticipated challenges.
