Help UR Students Explore Career Opportunities in Seattle!
At University of Redlands, we are passionate about providing opportunities for students to discover and explore careers. Our Career Trek program increases students’ access to career pathways, broadens their idea of the type of companies and diversity of jobs that exist in cities of interest, and connects students with alumni and other professionals to broaden their networks. For some students, however, these experiences are financially out of reach. That's why we need you!
The Office of Career and Professional Development (OCPD) is organizing its first out-of-state Career Trek to Seattle over spring break in February, and plans to take 12-15 students to more than 10 companies in just three days. Some companies will include Amazon, Starbucks, Microsoft, Oracle, and Securian Financial Services. While OCPD is covering the cost of in-state lodging and in-state travel, students are required to pay for their own flight to Seattle, which is why we need your support!
There are students interested in attending who are unable to afford a ticket. By giving to this project you are providing an opportunity they would not be able to afford otherwise. Your support opens doors, and provides new experiences where students can explore different career pathways. Give today and help our students discover their own path to success!
